We are looking forward to the next Chapter of Friends group with the introduction of Nicole Sarkar, CFRE, as our new Executive Director. With a rich background in nonprofit leadership and fundraising in Austin, spanning diverse causes from Meals on Wheels, Bat Conservation International, Girl Scouts, and Generation SERVE.  Nicole is deeply committed to protecting the biodiversity and public access that define the Balcones Canyonlands Refuge.
